President William Ruto has hailed the ongoing modernization of Toi Market, stating that over Sh500 million has been invested to make the market safer and more conducive for traders to operate from.
Speaking at the DC Grounds in Kibra, the President expressed his appreciation for the people of Kibra Constituency, acknowledging their unwavering support for the broad-based government and its development agenda. The remarks were made during an event where President Ruto reaffirmed his commitment to improving livelihoods across the country, with a special focus on areas like Kibra.
“We have invested more than Sh500 million in the modernisation of Toi Market. This investment aims to provide a safer and more efficient environment for traders. Our goal is to ensure that every Kenyan has the opportunity to thrive in a supportive and well-equipped marketplace,” said President Ruto.
