In a significant political move, President William Ruto has today announced the dismissal of Justin Muturi, the Cabinet Secretary (CS) for Public Service.
The decision comes amid growing speculation over potential cabinet reshuffles in the administration.
The announcement was made through a statement issued by the President’s office, citing reasons that are yet to be fully disclosed. Sources within government indicate that the sacking of Muturi could be linked to internal issues within the Ministry of Public Service.
Justin Muturi, a prominent figure in Kenyan politics, had served as CS since Ruto’s administration took office in 2022. He previously held various leadership roles, including Speaker of the National Assembly, and was seen as a key ally of the President.
