Principal Secretary for Labour and Skills Development, Shadrack Mwadime, today held an impactful session with students at the Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE) in Kasarani, Nairobi. The engagement was part of a leadership training initiative organized by the Association of County Students Associations' Presidents - Kenya (ACSAP-K), aimed at empowering students from the Taita Taveta County Students Association.
Themed "Stronger Bonds, Fresh Perspectives, and Lasting Transformation," the leadership training is designed to inspire and equip young people to take on leadership roles and become proactive agents of change within their communities. During the session, Mwadime emphasized the critical role of education and leadership in shaping the future of the country.
He encouraged the students to harness their potential and take responsibility for driving meaningful change at the grassroots level. "The youth have the power to transform their communities. It is essential to awaken this potential and provide the right tools for leadership," Mwadime stated.
The discussions focused on fostering a sense of responsibility and the importance of community service. Mwadime urged the students to not only focus on personal success but also to work towards creating a positive impact on society.
The initiative, which is part of ACSAP-K's broader efforts to build stronger leadership among youth, continues to inspire and motivate the next generation of leaders to take charge of their communities' development.
