Chief Officer in charge of Administration and Devolved Units, Ambrose Tarus, has called on the contractor handling the perimeter wall and Ablution Block project at Segero/Barsombe Ward Office to prioritize quality, efficiency, and commitment in completing the work on schedule.
During a meeting with stakeholders, Tarus emphasized the importance of adhering to the project's completion timeline. "We trust you, and we know that you will give your best," he stated, expressing confidence in the contractor’s ability to meet the expectations set by both the administration and the local community.
The Member of County Assembly for Segero/Barsombe, Nathan Malamoch, also addressed the gathering, reinforcing the need for top-quality work. "This is not just about meeting deadlines but ensuring value for money," Malamoch said, highlighting the community’s desire for long-lasting, high-quality infrastructure. He urged the contractor to ensure that the project would stand the test of time and deliver lasting value for the residents.
Both leaders agreed on the necessity of continuous monitoring throughout the course of the project to ensure that both administrative standards and community expectations are met.
Governor Jonathan Bii’s administration, which has continually worked towards bringing essential services closer to residents, views this project as part of its broader effort to enhance local infrastructure and improve public service delivery. The handover of the project marks a significant step in fulfilling that commitment.
In attendance at the meeting were Samwel Kiptoo, Director of Administration, Elkana Chumo, Ward Administrator, and engineers from the County Architecture Department, all of whom will play a role in overseeing the project's progress.
The Segero/Barsombe Ward Office project is expected to significantly improve public service delivery in the area, with both local leaders and residents eagerly anticipating its completion.
