“We Follow the Law!” Cardinal Otunga Girls Slams Illegal Levies Claims, Reaffirms Transparency

By Godfrey Wamalwa

Cardinal Otunga Girls High School has rubbished claims of imposing illegal levies, branding the allegations baseless and misleading.

School Principal Christine Sifuna assured parents and stakeholders that the institution strictly adheres to Ministry of Education regulations. She emphasized that any additional charges are discussed, approved by parents, and officially recorded to ensure transparency.

> “Our financial policies are clear and in line with government guidelines. These claims are false and aimed at tarnishing our institution’s reputation,” Sifuna stated.

Cardinal Otunga Girls has cemented its place as a top-performing extra-county school in Western Kenya, excelling both academically and in co-curricular activities.

Since taking over leadership, Principal Sifuna has championed major improvements, including modern infrastructure, enhanced academic programs, and expanded extracurricular opportunities. These efforts have propelled the school to greater heights, earning it recognition among Kenya’s best institutions.

> “Our priority remains delivering quality education in a conducive environment. We urge parents and well-wishers to support our mission instead of being swayed by unverified reports,” she added.

Insiders have dismissed the accusations as unfounded.

The school administration now urges parents and the public to fact-check information before spreading rumors, reaffirming that Cardinal Otunga Girls upholds integrity and remains committed to excellence in education.
