Isaac GM Andabwa, the National General Secretary of the Kenya National Private Security Workers Union, has solemnly joined the global community in mourning the demise of His Holiness Pope Francis.
In his poignant tribute, Andabwa extolled the late Pontiff as a paragon of humility, a voice for the marginalized, and an indefatigable servant of the Divine. He underscored that Pope Francis will be eternally enshrined not only as the spiritual leader of the Catholic Church but as a transcendent symbol of compassion, self-effacing humility, and unwavering advocacy for justice.
Throughout his papacy, Pope Francis unequivocally championed the cause of the destitute, the disenfranchised, and the downtrodden. His tenure was distinguished by an unrelenting commitment to the sanctity of human dignity and the promotion of peace. His clarion call for mercy, inclusion, and kindness resonated far beyond ecclesiastical confines, becoming a beacon of hope and moral clarity in tumultuous times. His leadership stood as a bastion of love, unity, and reconciliation, emphasizing forgiveness and solidarity amidst discord.
Andabwa noted that Pope Francis’ moral compass and spiritual guidance reverberated across the globe, cutting through the divides of faith, nationality, and creed. He commended the Pope’s extraordinary ability to connect with the common populace, consistently exemplifying the virtues of humility, service, and selflessness.
As the world grapples with this monumental loss, Andabwa implored the faithful, as well as all people of conscience, to celebrate the life and legacy of a man who devoted himself wholly to the service of both God and humanity. He expressed hope that Pope Francis' timeless message of peace, love, and compassion would persist as an enduring inspiration for future generations.
