Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) marked a significant milestone on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, as thousands of first-year students reported to various Campuses across the country, officially beginning their journey in medical training.
Beaming with pride, parents and guardians accompanied their children, eager to witness them take their first step toward becoming health professionals.
CEO Dr. Kelly Oluoch led the College fraternity in welcoming the students for the March 2025 intake.
He extended a warm congratulatory message to all the new students, urging them to embrace the opportunity with commitment and purpose.
“Today, you have been handed a blank cheque. How you choose to use your time here will shape the next chapter of your life,” Dr. Oluoch said.
“We anticipate enrolling approximately 17,000 students, filling the training vacancies we declared,” he confirmed.
Dr. Oluoch encouraged the students to stay focused on their studies and take full advantage of the resources and opportunities available at the College, highlighting that KMTC offers a supportive academic and personal development environment.
“KMTC is committed to providing high-quality training that prepares you for the demands of a dynamic and evolving health sector,” he said.
“Having been ranked the second-best College in Kenya in the 2022 Webometrics rankings, we continue to deliver a learning experience that equips students with the skills to address emerging global health challenges,” he added.
