Justice and Freedom Party Calls for National Cohesion, Economic Reform in Maa Narok

The leadership of the Justice and Freedom Party of Kenya (JFPK), led by Party Leader Justus Juma and Deputy Party Leader Reuben Kigame, delivered a compelling message to the nation yesterday, urging for national cohesion, economic growth, and a renewed commitment to security and justice. Addressing the crowd in Maa Narok, the party leaders highlighted some of the most pressing issues facing Kenya today, while outlining their vision for the country’s future.

Focus on National Unity and Security

In his speech, Party Leader Justus Juma called for immediate action to strengthen national cohesion and security. “A united nation is the foundation of a prosperous future,” Juma emphasized. “We must come together, beyond our political, ethnic, and social divides, to build a nation that is stable, secure, and just for all Kenyans.”

The call for unity was underscored by concerns about the country’s increasing political polarization and ethnic divisions, which have deepened over recent years. The JFPK leadership warned that without unity, Kenya risks further destabilization.

A Promise for Economic Revival

Deputy Party Leader Reuben Kigame painted a somber picture of the country’s economic landscape, citing issues such as stagnant trade and poor investment conditions. “Trade in goods and services is flatlining,” Kigame stated, “and capital flows are being significantly hampered due to rising protectionism, tribalism, and a volatile political environment.”

The party also raised concerns about the effects of regulatory burdens, predatory lending, and opportunistic technology, which they believe are oppressing ordinary Kenyans. “It is no secret that many of our people are suffering under unfair lending practices and high-interest rates,” Juma said. “These financial predators must be stopped, and the rights of Kenyans need to be protected.”

Land Grabbing and Legal Violations

The leadership also voiced concern over land grabbing, particularly the reported illegal occupation of land in Kibabi by the president's administration. “The breach of law and order is evident in the ongoing land grabbing scandal. It is a direct attack on the rights of Kenyan citizens and cannot go unchecked,” said Reuben Kigame.

The Justice and Freedom Party vowed to push for stronger legal enforcement to stop these violations and ensure that justice prevails for those affected.

Taxation and Investment Restrictions

The party also raised alarm about the growing challenges posed by high taxation, which they argue is hindering economic growth and discouraging potential investors. “The high tax burden on businesses and individuals is restricting investment and preventing our economy from thriving,” said Justus Juma. “We need tax reforms that will encourage investment, create jobs, and promote economic prosperity for all Kenyans.”

The Justice and Freedom Party pledged to champion policies that will reduce unnecessary tax burdens and create a more conducive environment for both local and foreign investments.

A Call to Action

As the Justice and Freedom Party of Kenya continues to push for reforms, their leadership emphasized the importance of action over rhetoric. “Kenya deserves more than empty promises. We are committed to working towards a future where the economy flourishes, the rights of all Kenyans are protected, and justice prevails,” Reuben Kigame concluded.

With their vision for national unity, economic reform, and a more secure and just society, the Justice and Freedom Party of Kenya is positioning itself as a force for change in the upcoming political landscape.
