Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi Criticizes Nyandarua Senator Kaba Methu Over Alleged Heckling Incident

Kapseret Member of Parliament (MP) Oscar Sudi has called out Nyandarua Senator Kaba Methu following an alleged plot to have Leader of Majority Kimani Ichung’wah and former Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri booed during their visit to Nyandarua. Sudi condemned the incident, accusing the senator of undermining the spirit of constructive political discourse.

In a statement issued to the press, MP Sudi expressed his disappointment with Kaba Methu's actions, questioning the senator's leadership tactics. “Instead of using resources to incite unnecessary disruptions and buy hecklers, Kaba Methu should have focused on empowering his constituents. He could have used the funds to buy motorbikes and provided opportunities for at least five youths to earn a living,” Sudi stated.

The MP further emphasized that the people of Nyandarua are more intelligent and forward-thinking than their leaders realize, pointing out that they have fully embraced development projects aimed at improving their livelihoods. “The youth in Nyandarua are more focused on progress and development. They understand the value of education, business, and sustainable growth, not the politics of division,” Sudi added.

Sudi also expressed his belief that Kaba Methu’s actions were a clear indication of his failure to serve the people of Nyandarua effectively. "This is not just a failure of leadership; it's a failure of vision. You’ve shown that your leadership is limited and trapped in the past, and you can’t rise above the petty politics of Wamunyoro," said the Kapseret MP, referencing Methu's alleged limited political outlook.

Sudi concluded by reiterating his commitment to advocating for policies that prioritize development and uplift the youth. He encouraged leaders across the country to focus on tangible actions that would benefit the people, rather than indulging in divisive politics.

“Let’s put the people’s interests first and work together for a better Kenya,” Sudi urged, calling on leaders to move away from negativity and embrace solutions that would foster growth and unity.
