In a heartwarming show of goodwill and inter-county camaraderie, Kapseret Member of Parliament Hon. Oscar Sudi has expressed his deep appreciation after receiving a generous consignment of Pure Pishori rice from leaders in Kirinyaga County.
The delegation, led by Kirinyaga County Assembly Speaker Hon. Muteti Murimi and a host of Members of County Assembly (MCAs), visited Hon. Sudi at his home in Kapseret, presenting the rice as a token of friendship and a symbol of Kirinyaga’s rich agricultural heritage.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Sudi lauded the leaders for their thoughtful gesture, noting that Kirinyaga remains a proud pillar in Kenya’s food production, especially for its high-quality Pishori rice.
“I am honored to have received this generous gift of Pure Pishori rice from Speaker Muteti Murimi and the accompanying MCAs. Kirinyaga is renowned for producing Kenya’s finest rice, and this gesture truly reflects the region’s agricultural excellence and hospitality,” said Sudi.
He added that such interactions between leaders from different regions not only strengthen unity but also provide opportunities for sharing best practices in development and service delivery.
