As part of its ongoing Youth Mentorship Program, the Kenya School of Government (KSG) on Tuesday hosted students from Bomet University College for a Field Course Trip and Mentorship Visit aimed at nurturing leadership, integrity, and value-based competencies among young people.
The visit provided the students with an opportunity to interact with public service professionals, gain insights into governance structures, and receive guidance on personal and professional growth.
Addressing the students during the visit, KSG Director General Prof. Nura Mohamed emphasized the importance of self-belief, authenticity, and purpose-driven living in achieving success.
“Don’t be afraid to be different. Embrace your uniqueness and believe in yourselves. That is what will set you apart and help you leave a meaningful impact,” said Prof. Mohamed.
He reaffirmed KSG’s commitment to empowering youth with the knowledge, values, and skills needed to make positive life choices and build strong personal and professional identities.
The mentorship session is part of KSG’s broader mission to support national development by equipping the next generation with ethical leadership and a deep understanding of public service.
Students expressed appreciation for the opportunity, citing the experience as both eye-opening and inspiring.
The Kenya School of Government continues to position itself as a key player in youth empowerment and leadership development through strategic partnerships and mentorship engagements across the country.
