Mwea Member of Parliament, Hon. Mary Maingi, visited Wang'uru Primary School in Tebere Ward to inspect the ongoing construction of an 8-classroom storey building. This initiative marks a major step forward in the region’s educational development, focusing on improving learning infrastructure and providing a better environment for students.
The new building is part of a broader effort to upgrade local educational facilities, aimed at addressing overcrowding and creating more spacious classrooms for students. Hon. Maingi emphasized that this project is critical to ensuring a quality education for the children of Mwea, offering them a modern, comfortable space to pursue their studies.
After the inspection, Hon. Maingi expressed her satisfaction with the progress of the construction. She confirmed that the project is moving ahead as planned and reiterated her commitment to ensuring its timely completion. "I’m glad to report that the work is progressing well, and I will continue to follow up to ensure timely completion," said the MP. "This project is a testament to our dedication to enhancing education and providing a better future for our children."
Hon.
