The Eldoret National Polytechnic (TENP) has once again made a name for itself on the national stage after delivering an outstanding performance at the recently concluded National Drama and Film Festivals held in Nakuru. The institution proudly brought home six trophies across various competitive categories, showcasing the depth of talent and creativity nurtured within its halls.
In a thrilling display of performance arts, TENP claimed the following accolades:

The team was led by the Chief Principal, Dr. Charles Koech, OGW, who praised the students for their discipline, creativity, and determination.
“This achievement is a true reflection of the hard work, unity, and brilliance of our students and their trainers. As an institution, we are fully committed to supporting the creative arts and nurturing talent at all levels,” said Dr. Koech.
He was accompanied by the Dean of Students, Mr. Chemitei, who also played a key role in organizing and supporting the team throughout the competition.
The Chief Principal extended special recognition to the team’s trainers and directors — Mr. Paul Kisali, Kennedy Mutai, Judy Nyamwaya, Beatrice Kaino, and Florence Okaka — for their exceptional mentorship and unwavering dedication to the students' artistic journey.
TENP’s performance was lauded not only for its artistic excellence but also for the impactful messaging, particularly in the Best Play with CBC Message category, which emphasized competency-based education themes relevant to the current curriculum reforms in Kenya.
This stellar performance has elevated the institution’s profile nationally, further solidifying its reputation as a center for both academic and creative excellence.
The entire TENP community has been celebrating the success, with staff and students alike expressing pride in the institution’s continued rise in the national arts and performance scene.
