On Sunday, April 6th, 2025, the staff and students of TENP celebrated a remarkable achievement in the just-concluded KATTI North Rift Region Athletics and Indoor Competitions held at Tambach TTC. The institution's athletes delivered an exceptional performance, clinching top positions across various categories and disciplines.
Dr. Charles Koech, OGW, the Chief Principal, alongside Deputy Principal Academics Madam Peninah Ogutu, and Dean of Students, expressed immense pride as they gathered to celebrate the sterling performance of the TENP athletics and indoor teams.
The institution emerged victorious, securing Position 1 in Overall Performance for Women, Position 1 in Overall Performance for Men, and Position 1 in Overall Performance, showcasing the impressive talent and determination of TENP's athletes.
TENP athletes excelled in a wide range of disciplines, including Track and Field events, Floorball, Badminton, and Table Tennis. The institution's diverse and talented team showcased their prowess across various sporting categories, adding to the pride of the institution.
Notably, TENP also fielded a team of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), who performed admirably, demonstrating remarkable skill and determination. Their performance underscored the institution's commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities for all athletes.
As a result of their outstanding performance, TENP will now represent the North Rift Region in the upcoming KATTI Nationals, set to be held in May 2025. The entire institution is looking forward to continuing their winning streak at the national level.
