Tophill Hospital took part in this year’s Rift Valley Regional Kenya Primary School Heads Association (KEPSHA) Conference, held at Nakuru High School, with a focus on promoting specialized healthcare and supporting education leaders’ well-being.
Joseph Bor, the hospital’s Head of Marketing, represented Tophill at the event, delivering a detailed presentation on the hospital’s range of specialized services, with a key emphasis on Brain and Spine treatment—areas in which the facility has earned notable recognition.
As part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, Tophill Hospital also provided bottled water to support the welfare of the hundreds of delegates in attendance. The gesture was well received, with many headteachers praising the hospital for its professionalism and care.
In his remarks, Mr. Bor proposed a forward-looking initiative aimed at supporting the health of school heads, many of whom are above the age of 50. He recommended organizing county-level health talks focusing on lifestyle diseases, stress management, midlife wellness, and preparation for retirement.
“This group carries the immense responsibility of shaping young minds. It’s important that we also support them to stay healthy, both physically and mentally, as they approach retirement,” Mr. Bor said.
The proposal was met with enthusiasm, with several KEPSHA officials expressing interest in collaborating with Tophill Hospital on future wellness programs tailored for educators.
Tophill Hospital continues to lead in patient-centered specialized care while actively contributing to community wellness through strategic partnerships and outreach programs.
