The Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) is mourning the loss of one of its dedicated and esteemed staff members, Dr. Henry Kipyegon Korir, a Consultant Anesthesiologist. Dr. Korir tragically passed away in the early hours of this morning at 3:20 AM following a road accident along the Eldoret-Kapsebet road.
Dr. Korir, a hardworking and respected member of the MTRH team, had served with great dedication in the hospital, providing exceptional care to countless patients. His expertise and compassion as a physician made him a trusted figure among colleagues and patients alike.
In a statement issued by the CEO of MTRH, Dr. Philip Kirwa, the hospital expressed its profound sorrow at the loss of Dr. Korir. “On behalf of the Board, Management, and Staff of Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, I extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and relatives of Dr. Korir during this difficult time,” Dr. Kirwa said. “Dr. Korir was not only a valued professional but a person who touched the lives of everyone around him.
