The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party is mourning the sudden demise of Hon. Julius Kipruto Keter, the Majority Whip of the Nandi County Assembly and Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Chemundu/Kapngetuny Ward, who passed away on April 12, 2025.
In a statement released by the party, UDA extended its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and constituents of the late Hon. Keter, describing him as a dedicated leader, loyal party member, and a dependable servant of the people.
“The UDA Party sends its sincere condolences to the family of the late Hon. Julius Kipruto Keter… a son, father, husband, breadwinner, and a dependable party diehard,” the statement read in part. “Our thoughts and prayers as the UDA party are with the entire family, the people of Chemundu/Kapngetuny Ward, and the entire Nandi County at this very difficult moment of mourning.”
Hon. Keter, known for his unwavering commitment to public service and grassroots development, served with distinction both within the County Assembly and in his local community. His passing has been met with an outpouring of grief from colleagues, political leaders, and residents alike, who remember him as a unifier and a strong advocate for the people of his ward.
“We stand with the family as they come to terms with this loss,” the UDA statement continued. “On behalf of the entire party leadership, accept our heartfelt condolences.”
