Do Not Elect Independent Candidates -Musalia Mudavadi to Kenya Kwanza Supporters
Amani party leader Musalia Mudavadi has warned Kenya Kwanza supporters against electing independent party candidates.
Speaking during interdenominational prayer meeting Mudavadi said this will deny deputy president William Ruto votes.
“I want to urge Kenya Kwanza supporters across the country not to elect independent candidates, do not make president William Ruto a weak president by voting for independent candidate,” said the ANC party leader.
Uasin Gishu County has Several independent candidates which include Kesses MP Dr Swarup Mishra, Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut, Moiben MP Silas Tiren and Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant Zedekiah Bundotich alias Buzeki.
Mudavadi called in IEBC to ensure that they conduct a free and fair elections.
“IEBC should also investigate those using chiefs, their assistants, County commissioner to campaign for them since this is unethical and ill intended which will make the August polls not free and fair,” he said.
He said that come August they will defeat the the opposition leader Raila Odinga since he has no agenda to the people of Kenya.
“We want president Uhuru Kenyatta and his project Raila Odinga to go home through a democratic way. Ruto is not a person who can be used like a remote and come August let’s remove him in the August polls,” he added.
“The opposition leader should accept the results of the elections since this time round we will defeat him in first round,” he added.
