26 Groups From Kamukunji Receive Uwezo Fund Worth Sh 2.7 Million
Kamukunji Member of Parliament Yusuf Hassan has distributed Uwezo finds to 26 groups from his Constituency.
Speaking during the exercise at California ICT Centre Hall the Kamukunji Member of Parliament urged the beneficiaries to use the money to improve their livelihoods.
“Congratulations to the 26 groups from Kamukunji constituency who have successfully secured funding from the Uwezo Fund. Let’s use the money prudently to improve our livelihoods, ” said the Kamukunji legislator.
The Uwezo Fund Committee presented cheques totaling sh 2.7 million to these deserving groups.
“This funding will empower the youth and women groups to invest in their diverse income generating activities, ultimately contributing to the improvement of their economic well-being.” he added.
