3,500 traders to Occupy Space at the Masinde Muliro Business Centre
At least 3,500 traders are scheduled to occupy their space at the Masinde Muliro Business Centre in Kitale as the contractor puts final touches on the multi-million county flagship project.
The ultra-modern business centre situated within the Kitale Bus Park and whose construction has been ongoing is set to open its doors to the general public in due course.
Deputy Governor Philomena Kapkory who made an inspection tour of the facility to check on the progress asserted that the facility will soon be operational.
The deputy was accompanied by the County Secretary Truphosa Amere and the Director of Governor’s Delivery Unit Samuel Ereng and his Performance Management counterpart Edward Khaoya.
The establishment of the business centre is geared at increasing the turnover with more traders set to get adequate space for doing business.
Her Excellency Kapkory affired that the construction will be complete in less than three months just as she challenged the project contractor to fast track the the process.
Earlier on, the delegation made a site visit at the Trans Nzoia Teaching and Referral hospital in the outskirts of Kitale town where they also inspected progress of the flagship project.
The DG at the same time assured that the over Sh 1 billion TCTRH be will completed in the next three months just as the delegation established that most of the equipment were already installed and functioning.
