57 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 bringing the total number to 887 infections in Kenya.
According to a statement send to media houses the government spokesperson said they tested 2,198 samples in the last 24 hours out of which 57 tested positive.
34 of the positive cases are males while 23 are female where the youngest is aged 2 years while the oldest 61 years old.
“Mombasa had (35), Nairobi (17), Kajiado (3), Kwale (1) and Kitui had (1) patient infected by COVID-19 ,” the statement read.
12 more patients recovered bringing the total number of recoveries to 313.
