Raila Odinga Delivers his Promise of Sh 500,000 to Ailing Footballer
Opposition leader Raila Odinga on Sunday delivered his promise of Sh 500,000 to Wisdom Naya ailing footballer.
The cheque was presented by Saboti member of parliament Caleb Amisi.
During his tour in Transnzoia County the opposition leader Raila Odinga promised to five hundred thousand shillings to the ailing footballer.
“Earlier today I took time out of my busy schedule to visit Wisdom Naya who was diagnosed with sarcoma cancer last year at their home in Mitume, Saboti Constituency.
I handed over Kshs.500,000 contributed by Hon Raila Odinga and my personal cash of Kshs.100,000 totalling to Kshs. 600,000 as contribution to the former St.Antony boys and Sofapaka FC player’s parents to help him seek medical treatment in India.#,” said the Saboti member of parliament.
“Let’s help the young talented footballer by sending contribution through PAYBILL 8043369.Quick recovery Wisdom,'” he added.
