Bungoma county governor Wyclif Wangamati now says his County  is at threat if her leaders will continue to abuse the courts to fight progress and Development.
This were the sentiments of Governor Wangamati  as he expressed disappointment at the Court order that has halted village administrators from assuming office.
“Any leader who fights the Development Agenda for this county needs to understand that it is not me who stands to lose but the very people of Bungoma they claim to speak for,” he said.
The highly competitive exercise of hiring village administrators was completed at the beginning of this month after several attempts to halt them. The fate of 236 officers has now been put on hold as we await court direction.
Governor Wangamati was speaking in Ranje West Sang’alo Ward during the funeral of Mama Florence Simiyu. Also present were Deputy Governor Prof. Charles Ngome, CECM Collins Mukhongo, MCAs, Speaker Kenneth Lusaka and other leaders.
