MTRH PARTNERS WITH LIONS CLUB TO RAMP UP EYE SURGERIES
Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Wilson K. Aruasa MBS, EBS, and Lions Club President, Lion Harpreet Sahota today graced the closing ceremony of MTRH/Lions Club of Eldoret sponsored Eye Camp.
Over 3,200 patients were screened and over 300 operated free of charge , during the week-long exercise.
MTRH CEO lauded the Lions Club of Eldoret led by President Lion Harpeet Sahota for dedicating valuable resources in helping the community.
Such camps increase our surgical/ medical capacity and access to quality health services by the population.
Lions Club President was accompanied by; 1st lady Gurmeet Kaur, Catherine Gatua, Vandeep Sagoo, Sanjay Gujral, Shabbir Nurbhai, Pritpal Sains and Vasakha Sabharwai. Also present were; Eye Surgeons led by Dr. James Bett- Head of Ophthalmology & the Ophthalmology team, and Hospital Management Team.
