Police In Eldoret Recover Stolen Electronics, arrest three suspects
Police in Eldoret has recovered stolen electronics worth Sh 1 million in Huruma estate in the outskirts of Eldoret town.
According to Turbo Subcounty commander Edward Masibo this was following the tip by the public to the police special unit that there were suspected stolen vehicles.
“The intelligence-led us to a house at to Huruma estate,pilot at around 3am in the morning, therein they found electronic assorted goods with three people who included two men and one lady were immediately arrested and we recovered all the goods in their possession,” said the Turbo Subcounty police boss while speaking to the press.
The assorted electronics that were recovered include Tvs, home theatres, woofers, mobile phones in which police suspect they had snatched from people during late hours.
“Police have started investigations on the same and the three suspects will be arraigned in court once the investigations are over,” Masibo added.
He reiterated that police will continue with the fight against those stealing house equipment until those involved in the crime in the county and its neighboring environs are arrested and face the full force of the law.
The Turbo police boss called on residents to act as their watchdog by reporting those they suspect to be criminal and promised to take stern actions against them.
“I want to call upon residents to act as our watchdog by reporting all those involved in criminal activities. Let us continue working together since security starts with you,” said Masibo.
He called on residents who have lost their belongings to come with prerequisite documentation for identification.
