Governor Jackson Mandago, EGH has condemned the utterances of National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) Chair Rev. Samuel Kobia terming them as inciting.

The Governor has stated that Uasin Gishu is the most peaceful County and will remain peaceful before and after 2022 elections.

Rev. Kobia spoke on Monday at an interview on a national television, insinuating that some people in Burnt Forest and other affected areas could not go back to their farms over a decade after the 2007/08 post poll chaos.

The Governor confirmed that all the IDPs are on their farms after efforts of reconciliation done by neighbours and local leadership.

The Governor called on leaders to desist from divisive politics that can alter the peace that the country has enjoyed over time.

Speaking in Kesses Sub County he also called on youths to be cautious on what they post on social media asking them to use the platform to preach peace.
