Samson Mugo Alias Samkiz Named Turbo Constituency Azimio La Umoja Candidate
Samson Mugo alias Samkiz has been endorsed as Azimio La Umoja Turbo constituency parliamentary aspirant.
Led by ODM party NEC member Kipkorir Menjo, Langas MCA Francis Muya and kiplombe MCA Ramadhali Ali they Samkiz is best suited to be the next member of parliament.
“Today we have resolved that the Azimio La Umoja candidate for Turbo constituency is none other than Samkiz, we believe that this young man can take the constituency to greater heights of development and transformation, ” said Langas MCA Francis Muya during the Azimio La Umoja youth rally in Eldoret.
“We have decided that we will support Samkiz and campaign for him untill he clinches the Turbo parliamentary seat come 2022,” MCA kiplombe Ramadhan Ali.
Samkiz thanked the Azimio La Umoja Uasin Gishu chapter leaders for believing in his leadership.
“I want to thank you for believing in my leadership and I promise to transform Turbo and ensure that resources are shared equally no matter their political or tribal affiliations,” said Samkiz.
He called on Kenyans to register as voters for them to participate in the fourthcoming general elections.
“I want to call upon Kenyans to register as voters in the ongoing voter registration exercise since you cannot choose a leader if you cannot vote and remember that bad leaders are elected by people who don’t vote,” he said.
He said Uasin Gishu residents will maintain peace in the fourthcoming general elections.
“As leaders from Uasin Gishu we have decided that we will preach and maintain peace before, during and after the 2022 general elections.I am calling in youths not to allow themselves to be used by self-centered centered politicians to cause violence, let us maintain peace,” Samkiz said.
Samkiz says despite the County being the deputy president William Samoei Ruto stronghold Kenyans should be allowed to choose leaders of their choice irregardless of their parties.
“This is a democratic country and no one whatsoever should threaten you for choosing a particular party or person since it’s their democratic right.
He said from the MCA to president position they will vote for Azimio LA Umoja candidate.
“We will vote for the opposition leader Raila Odinga as president come 2022 and we will campaign for him until he clinches the presidency come 2022,” he said.
Kiplombe MCA Ramadhan Ali called on ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi to supper opposition leader Raila Odinga presidential bid.
“I am calling upon Musalia Mudavadi to support Raila Odinga since after him you will be given a chance to lead the nation,” he said.
