Busia Governor,  Sospeter Ojaamong has disclosed that his Government is upgrading Ochude Dispensary from Level 2 to Level 3 status.

Addressing mourners during the burial of Mama Anjeline Nawire Omuse, 54, at Okiludu village in Chakol South Ward, the Governor said upgrading of the health institution into health centre status will reduce cases of people seeking treatment at Alupe Sub County Hospital.

” My Government has upgraded many health facilities in the county and employed many health officers that has led to improved service delivery in these institutions,” he said.

H.E Ojaamong said leaders worth their salt seeking elective posts should account for what they have done instead of peddling lies and spreading falsehood.

” I am shocked some leaders who use proxies at funerals to demean others by claiming lack of certain infrastructure and which is not the case are doomed to fail as people may lack trust in them,” he said.

He added, ” I am steadfast in my pursuit to leave the leadership of the County with peace and unity, pledging to leave the throne in safe hands.”

Acting Director Public Works, Johnkevin Otwani said Bugengi- Okiludu road, Alupe University- Alomodoi and Ochude- ACK- Ojaamong Secondary School will benefit from box culverts each.
