NAKURU 1ST JOINT RALLY WILL BE PART OF KENYA’S ’s HISTORY-GOVERNOR MANDAGO
Governor Jackson Mandago says the Wednesday Nakuru rally will be part of the key events when Kenya’s history is written.
Speaking in Nakuru County ahead of the rally, Mandago said Kenyans of all walks are welcomed to the rally that will be a first joint following coalition agreement between UDA, ANC and Ford Kenya.
“I want to call upon Kenyans from all divides to show up in large numbers and welcome our leaders since its a rally of its kind,” said Mandago while speaking to the press.
This comes days after UDA agreed to work with Ford Kenya and UDA parties.
The Governor also insisted that Rift Valley leaders’ are commitment in ensuring peace and unity prevail ahead of the August polls.
“As leaders from the region we are committed to ensuring that we have peaceful elections before, during and after the general elections, no one whatsoever will fight because of politics,” he added.
He welcomed everyone to come and listen to what the next government has in store for them.
Deputy president William Ruto, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya Party leader Moses Wetangula .
UDA leaders from across the country are expected to attend the meeting.
The meeting is supposed to cement the relationship between UDA , Ford Kenya and ANC parties.
