Eldowas moves to seal loopholes Leading to the Company loosing Millions

The Eldoret Water and Sanitation Company (Eldowas)has put measures aimed at curbing the illegal connections of water in Eldoret town.
According to the company’s MD Peter Biwott they have set aside sh 2000 to be awarded to anyone with illegal connection.
“We have set aside 2000 to the people who will be able to deal with people involved in theft and illegal connections of water in this town .”said Bi.wott
According to the Eldowas managing director Peter Biwott the company produces over 42 million liters of water daily ,out of which alot of million liters are lost as a result of illegal connection and theft.
Biwott said, as a result of illegal connection many residents of this county are facing water shortage .
“Over five hundred million liters of water is reported to be involved in illegal connections every year”said Bi.Wott
He said there is need of collaboration between residents and the company to reduce illegal connections.
“I Want to give a stern warning to those involved in illegal connection that theor days are numbered and will soon be brough to book,” he said
