OJAAMONG SALUTES PS EMOLOT ON HIS APPOINTMENT AS INTERIM EMORIMOR
Busia Governor, H.E Sospeter Ojaamong has
congratulated, His Highness Paul Sande Emolot on his appointment as the Interim Emorimor Papa Iteso.
In a message, the Governor said Papa Emolot’s accession to the cultural throne of the iteso as the interim cultural leader is good for the Union, coming about two weeks since the burial of Emorimor Papa Augustine Osuban.
“As the ICU Council chairman, Papa Emolot is the right person to act as Emorimor and I thank ICU delegates for the bold move they exhibited in Papa Emolot,” he said.
He added: ” Papa Emolot has what it takes to unite the Iteso Community in Uganda, Kenya and the Diaspora. I urge the Iteso community to support his bid to unite the over 7million members.”

” I am happy for the trust that the council has bestowed on me to caretake as interim Emorimor,” said Emolot after his installation that was punctuated with ulutations and dances of praise.
“I accept the task and I promise to steer the clan to greater heights during this period that I am going to be an interim Emorimor.”
