BUSIA GOVERNOR ATTENDS BURIAL OF AFRICAN OAK PETER OBWOGO
Busia Governor, H.E Sospeter Ojaamong has joined family, friends and family for the burial of African OAK “Omutumba” Peter Obwogo at Mundika village.
Obwogo who was a Salvation Army Church member, was Chief Principal at Kisumu School. In 2015, mwalimu Obwogo emerged the Principal of the year, an achievement celebrated in the whole country.
This was achieved due to his 360 degrees teacher manager professionalism. One of his flagships for Matayos MP aspirant was farming for the poor which only death put a stop.
The burial service is presided over by Major Frederick Omuse of the Salvation Army Bungoma West.
Others attending the burial service includes, First Lady, Judy Ojaamong, County Assembly Speaker, Bernard Wamalwa, County Public Service Board chairperson, Assumpta Obore, CECMs Phaustine Barasa (Finance), Dr Moses Osia (Agriculture), John Mwami (Public Service and Administration), Dr Janet Manyasi (Culture and Sports).
