Amb. Julius Bitok and Amb Sarah Serem Supporters Meet In Eldoret Town This is What They Did
Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirants on Friday med and shook hands in Eldoret town.
Ambassador Julius Bitok and Ambassador Sarah who both are evening the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat met in Eldoret town and shook hands leaving many shocked.
The two leaders warmly embraced each other with their supporters this being one of its kind since many were expecting the two functions to fight each other.
Bitok and Serem are both eying the UDA party ticket in the 14th April forthcoming party primaries where the winner will face businessman and tycoon Zedekiah Bundotich alias Buzeki who will be running on an independent party ticket.
“This evening, we ran into my competitor-Julius Bitok’s team! This is the kind of maturity and tolerance we want to be demonstrating going forward! Differing on Ideology doesn’t mean we are enemies! Political Tolerance must be observed during this Electioneering period,” Ambassador Sarah Serem said.
“During my roadshow I met my colleague Ambassador Sara Serem, shook hands and wished her well.Politics is not enmity, hatred and insults.We may differ in ideologically but that doesn’t mean we go personal against each other.The electioneering period will come and go, but we shall need each other to build this county and country. I therefore urge residents of our beloved county to embrace peace and encourage healthy political competition,: ambassador Julius Bitok said.
The seat has attracted aspirants which include Zedekiah Bundotich alias Buzeki, Jonathan Bii Alias Koti Moja, Ambassador Sarah Serem, David Singoei, and Veska Kangogo among others.
The two are currently among the front runners for the seat.
