Elgeyo Marakwet County partners with World Vision
The world vision Kenya is engaging County Government of Elgeyo Marakwet technical working group on Integrated Management of Natural Resources for resilience in the ASALs (IMARA).
IMARA program is a project funded by Swedish government, world vision Kenya providing merging grant and implementation.
The program aims to increase resilience of vulnerable households to climate-change-related shocks through diversified livelihoods and improved natural resource management and use in the ASAL counties of Elgeyo Marakwet, Isiolo, Laikipia, Marsabit, Narok, Samburu, Turkana and West Pokot.
The Program is collaborating with County Governments, Private Sector and Community-led institutions to transform the lives of communities and households.
