Kesses MP Dr Swarup Mishra Mourns the Death of Former President Mwai Kibaki
Kesses member of parliament Dr Swarup Mishra has send a message of condolences to the family and friends of Mwai Kibaki.
President Uhuru Kenyatta officially announced Mwai Kibaki’s death on Friday in a televised address at State House, Nairobi.
The retired President was aged 91.
He described the deceased as a historical icon, a statesman and a renown economist.
“I join the rest of the nation in mourning the demise of Kenya’s 3rd President His Excellency Stanley Emilio Mwai Kibaki EGH. President Mwai Kibaki was a historical icon, a statesman and a renown economist who transformed Kenyan economy to greater levels,” said the Kesses legislator.
“On behalf of the great people of Kesses, My family and I send our deepest condolences to H.E. Mwai Kibaki’s family at this difficult time. The world mourns with you and celebrates the extraordinary life of this remarkable leader. May God rest his soul in eternal peace and give you strength during this hard time of mourning,” he added.
