Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana Speaks After his Photo and DP Ruto Trended
Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana has refuted claims that he had joined Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
This is after his photo with the deputy president William Ruto trended on Monday.
Through his official Facebook page Kibwana said the photo was taken a year ago.
“I am told this is (re) trending. It was a beautiful photo after an IBEC meeting of Council of Governors among others with the DP William Samoei Ruto taken over a year ago. Then he told me he stood for bottom up economics and I replied I have always stood with Wanjiku,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
This comes after Machakos governor Alfred Mutua joined the Kenya Kwani alliance Les by the deputy president William Samoei Ruto.

John Kairu says “Its now official that no single politician in Kenya can be trusted.l had a lot of hope in Kivutha and when he advised us to follow him to Azimio l obliged,it is the better devil side,now taking us to the Uda side is completely unfair,”

Martin Kitavi wrote “After Prof. championing and having practiced “the Wanjiku/Mwende/Atieno/…. kwanza development” in makueni for the last 9 years , I was wondering why this was not “bottom – up” put in a simpler way,”
