Cherangany parliamentary seat aspirant on Chama Ya Mapatano Kenya (CYMK) party Kipkoech Kima has bolted out of the parliamentary seat.
Speaking to the press he now says he will support the incumbent Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny.

“I want to say without fear of contradiction that come August I will now support Cherangay MPJoshua Kutuny in his bid to retain his seat,” said Kima while speaking to the press.

Kima had declared his interest for the seat using the Chama Ya Mapatano Kenya (CYMK) party.

“The decision was met after various consultations amongst my team and agreed that his key pillars mirror my agenda. We wish him all the best as 2027 we will embark to judge him as I will make a comeback,” he added.

He also congratulated the opposition leader and the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance Flag bearer Raila Odinga for nominating Narc Kenya Party leader Martha Karua.

“Attention has been brought to the ongoing exercise concerning the choice of a running mate for the two contenders for Presidency. We commend the choices made by H.E Raila Odinga and H.E William Ruto for the second in command and wish to congratulate the decision made by Raila Odinga on endorsing Martha Karua to become Deputy President should he win,” said Kima.

He further said that it is quite important that we note that the former Chief Justice Emeritus David Maraga advised H.E Uhuru Kenyatta to dissolve parliament for lacking quorum.

‘The choice of Odinga is in tandem with our wishes as to the youth, more so interested in governance. I, therefore, wish to commend the choice of Odinga and in extension show my support for Hon. Joshua Kuttuny who is the MP for Cherangany under Jubilee Party where I was to vie in a different party,” he added.
