BUSIA DG CALLS FOR PEACEFUL CAMPAIGNS AND ELECTIONS
Busia Deputy Governor, Moses Mulomi has urged Busia residents to engage in peaceful political campaigs in the lead up to the upcoming General Elections.
Addressing mourners at Bulwani Primary in Butula after a requiem mass for the Late Mzee Francis Khadudu, The Deputy Governor underscored the role of peace as a catalyst for economic growth.
“When we have peace, our growth as a society will be guaranteed. I urge residents of Butula and Busia at large to vote wisely come August to avoid remaining empty handed after the polls,” he said.
The DG is among candidates angling to succeed his boss H.E Sospeter Ojaamong.
The late Mzee Khadudu, a Harvard-schooled economist was eulogized as a great family man and a professional of high intergrity.
