MANDAGO FOR PEACEFUL ELECTIONS IN NORTH RIFT

Uasin Governor Jackson Mandago has applauded the North Rift Valley residents to conducting themselves with decorum and cohesion during the ongoing campaign period.

He says despite the ongoing campaigns Northrift residents have maintained peace and tranquility amongst themselves.

” I want to thank the leaders and residents of this region. We have navigated through party nominations peacefully and we know that in the fourthcoming elections we will conduct ourselves in a peaceful manner ” ,Mandago said.

He spoke at Kenyatta Sports Ground Kitale when he joined other Kenya Kwanza leaders for Allan Chesang’ Soccer Tournament Finals which is meant to nurture talents.

Mandago also took the opportunity to campaign for Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto and his co-aspirants flying Kenya Kwanza flag in the North Rift.

“I want to call upon Kenyans to vote for the deputy president William Samoei Ruto in the fourthcoming August polls since he is the only one who will redeem the country from the state it’s in now,” he added.

Deputy president William Samoei Ruto has declared his interest for the presidency in the August polls but his bid has been rubbished by thr dynasties who have termed him as corrupt and cannot be trusted with the country’s leadership.

He will be facing the opposition leader Raila Odinga in the fourthcoming August elections.

Odinga will be vying for the 5th time.

Also present at the function were Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, Kenya Kwanza Trans Nzoia Governor aspirant Chris Wamalwa and his Uasin Gishu counterpart Jonathan Bii.
