CS George Magoha Apologizes For Doing This as He Opens Umoja Secondary school CBC Classes
The Cabinet secretary for Education George Magoha has apologized to Kenyans after he closed schools abruptly for the preparation of the August polls.
Speaking to the press at Umoja Secondary school after he commissioned four CBC Classrooms Magoha said this will fastruck the preparations of the polls.
“I know people unhappy that schools were closed abruptly let me apologize on behalf of the government, electoral commission must be given whatever they want to carry out free, fair and verifiable election. It is a transition period and I want the children to be safe with their parents at home,” said the Education CS.
This comes after the CS Education closed schools indefinitely a head of the August polls.
He says they hope that we will finish construction of classrooms slightly before or after the August polls.
“I take full responsibility and the swords you have send on me are enough, as I take full responsibility I love the children and I will be the last person to put the life of children in danger,” he added
The Education CS also commissioned Eliud Kipchoge Library in Nandi county.
“On behalf of president Uhuru Kenyatta I also commissioned David Kipchoge library which has been built at the cost of Ksh 80 million which also include the roadwork’s and the fence,” CS Magoha said.
He further said that president Kenyatta has authorized that the balance of Sh 15 million will be used to extend the fence and build ten classroom .
The Cs for Education further said the four CBC classroom will be used by the junior pupils joining junior secondary.
Umoja Secondary School in Uasin Gishu school’s principal, Mr. Sosten Tabut said they are prepared for the intake of Junior secondary students.
“I want to thank CS George Magoha for officially coming to officially open our four CBC classes we are fully prepared for the intake of Junior Secondary students,” said Tabut while speaking to the press.
Umoja Secondary School in Uasin Gishu is among the best performing day school in the County and recently produced the best student.
