I have Not Withdrawn Scholarship for 300 Students- Outgoing Kesses MP Dr. Swarup Mishra
Kesses outgoing member of parliament Dr Swarup Mishra has refuted claims that he has withdrawn scholarships for 300 students who were studying at Eldoret National Polytechnic,
Through his official Facebook page the Kesses legislator said those are just rumors and should be ignored.
The outgoing Kesses Member of Parliament was among the best performing members of parliament in the Country where he empowered youths, people with disabilities, and women to earn a living.
Dr. Mishra who was vying on an independent party ticket was defeated by Julius Ruto who was vying on an independent party ticket.
“Dear Kenyans, For the past one week, the social media has been awash with FAKE NEWS that I have withdrawn scholarship for 300 Students from Kesses Constituency. I urge you all to disregard the rumors, FAKE NEWS and sophisticated disinformation campaigns being peddled across-board. The program is still on course and by the Great Grace of God we shall continue absorbing and supporting more students,” Dr. Swarup Mishra said.
He also thanked Kesses residentS for supporting him as their MP for the last five years.
“I also take this opportunity to thank The Great People of Kesses for the opportunity, trust, and endearing love they accorded me all along. Kongoi Missing God Bless Kesses God Bless Kenya,” he added.
