Uasin Gishu Leaders Mourn Former Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut

Uasin Gishu Leaders have mourned the death of former Ainabkoi Member of Parliament W3illiam Chepkut
They termed the deceased as a hardworking and God-fearing individual.

“Sad to learn of the demise of Hon Chepkut, the former Mp Ainabkoi Constituency. I hereby convey my heartfelt condolences to the family, the people of Ainabkoi, and everyone who knew this great leader. May God be with the family at this trying moment. Poleni sana,” said Soy Member of parlimanet David Kipalagat.

Chepkut died Saturday morning at Mediheal Hospital in Parklands.

“A sad day in Ainabkoi, our County, and the entire Nation. Rest in peace our friend and brother the Hon Chepkut. May the Almighty God grant the family solace in these difficult moments,” said the former Uasin Gishu Gubernatorial aspirant Zedekiah Bundotich Alias Buzeki.

The former MP served the constituency between 2017 to 2022. He was elected as an independent candidate.
“My heartfelt condolences to my immediate former colleague in the 12th Parliament and Member for Ainabkoi constituency, the Late Hon Chepkut, who has passed on; words cannot express how saddened I am to learn of his passing.

I pray that the Lord gives family, friends, and relatives the strength to bear this loss.
May his soul rest in eternal peace,” said the Turbo Member of Parliament.

“STILL IN SHOCK & DISBELIEF! How do you eulogize a brother and friend? How do you even coin a phrase, to say the least about someone so dear to you? I sincerely lack words! Till we meet again sir, rest easy brother,” former Kesses MP Dr. Swarup Mishra as he eulogizes the deceased.

Former Ainabkoi Parliamentary aspirant Terry Maina wrote “My condolences to the family of Hon. William Chepkut and the people of Ainabkoi on the sad news of his demise. A true servant leader, he will be remembered for his availability and humility during his time as our MP. He has gone too soon. Rest In Peace, Mheshimiwa,”

Chepkut was a funny guy and always made people happy whenever he was called to speak at any function including those attended by president Uhuru Kenya.

Lucy Ngendo Chomba says “What a sad Saturday to hear that you are no more.My condolences to the immediate family,the people of Ainabkoi and Uasin-Gishu at large.We will remember him as a comedian lawmaker.
