Turbo Sub-county Commander Assures Residents of Their Security During Festive Season
Turbo Sub-county commander Edward Masibo has assured residents of heightened security during the Christmas and New Year festive season.
He says measures have been put in place to ensure that the security of residents is guaranteed and that of their property when they are away.
“We have deployed more police officers and recalled those who were on leave to ensure that the lives of residents are guaranteed and also their properties are safe. We want to assure you that your property will be safe under your watch,” said the Turbo Sub-County Police Boss.
The Turbo Sub-county police boss said the police will carry out regular patrols in areas that are prone to insecurity and areas where there are increased cases of illegal alcohol intake.
Masibo noted that visible security will be in place alongside intelligence surveillance across the region before and after the celebrations.
“The tight security measures were aimed at ensuring the safety and security of residents and domestic and foreign holidaymakers. Police officers will be patrolling during the December and New Year holidays to guarantee security. All police have been recalled on the same,” he said.
He warned gangsters terrorizing residents during this festive season saying that their days are numbered and will face the full face of the law.
“I also call upon residents to ensure that they inform their neighbors or caretaker when they travel upcountry this will help to ensure that their houses and property are secure to avoid being broken into,” Masibo added.
He further urged the residents to embrace the Nyumba Kumi initiative by reporting anyone with unquestionable character among them.
