Tatyan Khwaka Wabwire Beneficiary of Wangamati Scholarship Fund Joins Princeton University
Tatyan Khwaka Wabwire, one of the pioneer beneficiaries of Wangamati Scholarship Fund, has been admitted to Princeton University.
Tatyan has been awarded a full scholarship at Princeton University – an ivy league institution and 4th oldest University in the US.
Tatyan, who lost her father in Class 4, topped Bungoma DEB Primary School with 441 marks in 2017. In 2018, she joined Pangani High on Wangamati Scholarship and scored a straight A after 4 years.
She is among 15 students on Wangamati Scholarship who joined Equity Bank’s Wings to Fly Leadership Programme after their KCSE.
She will be studying Architecture starting January 2023. Tatyan and mum thanked former Governor for the scholarship initiative and “bringing to reality what was not conceivable in a dream.”
