Lusaka Flags Off Kanduyi Festival Cycling Race
Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka today flagged off the annual Kanduyi festival cycling race at Bungoma airstrip.
The annual cycling race enters its fifth year since its inception with the winners competing for Sh300,000 cash price.
Lusaka said that he will rally behind participation in streamlining sports in the county so that all sports are funded and sportsmen and women participate not in only in football tournament but other sports disciplines too.
“Through such a race, we will be promoting local talents and we will also scout for talented cyclists who will then be competing in the nationwide competitions,” he said.
