Tindiret Mp, Advocate Lilan Visit Meteitei Sub County Hospital
Tindiret Legislator Hon Julius Meli and Advocate Paul Lilan a member of the Presidential Working Party on Education Reform visited Meteitei Sub County Hospital with a view of assessing the level of service delivery and the status of the facilities in the various units of the hospital and to motivate staff.
During the guided tour of the hospital, the Tindiret legislator and Advocate Lilan noted that there’s need for closer working ties between the County Government of Nandi and the National Government to expand healthcare services being offered at Meteitei Sub County Hospital.
“For instance, when our people are sick, they should comfortably be treated in this facility,” said Meli.
The two leaders said that there was need to have an x-ray machine, establish a blood satellite center, an oxygen plant at the hospital serves a huge population in the expansive sub county.
The Tindiret legislator noted that the County Government has the potential and the capacity to eliminate diseases that have bedeviled the region for years through closer collaboration.
