Langas MCA Hits at the County Commissioner For Sleeping on the Job

Langas Ward Member of County Assembly (MCA) Francis Muya has asked the County Commissioner Edison Nyale to stop sleeping on the job at the expense of residents’ security.

Muya accused the County Commissioner of the increased cases of insecurity in Eldoret town and its environs.

“These theft cases and breaking of laws in Uasin Gishu have increased. This is because you as the County Commissioner have become reluctant to do your job yet you are the head of the security committee. The only thing you are good at is giving empty threats.” Muya said.
He has further condemned the acts of the criminal gang dubbed ‘Koita’ calling for their arrest since they are terrorizing residents.

The MCA who also doubles up as the leader of the Minority called on Governor Jonathan to come out clearly about the thugs causing insecurity in the area since they purport to have his blessings.
“Governor, you need to come out clean if you know criminals or you do not know about them because they have reached a point where they mercilessly beat the business people at the point of breaking their arms, destroying their properties, and sexually abusing girls doing business. These doings are wrong and we do not accept that as leaders,” he said.
