Governor Bii Sponsors Gideon Kipkosgei to Join AIC Chebisaas Boys
Uasin Gishu governor Jonathan Bii has promised to sponsor Gideon Kipkosgei to pursue his secondary education at AIC Chebisaas Boys.
Speaking to the press after they paid him a courtesy call governor Bii said the dream of the boy is to become a Governor when he grows up and that he believes good leadership impacts society positively.
“As a matter of urgency, I have engaged with the school administration to admit him. I will pay for his school fees and support him through his four-year education journey. My aim is to ensure that all bright and needy students access quality education,” he said.
He was accompanied by his elder sister Immaculate Chesang and nominated Member of the County Assembly (MCA) Hon. Magrina Kebenei to inform the governor of the hurdle.
“The 17 year-old scored 361 marks in the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and received an admission letter to join AIC Chebisaas Boys, a National High School. His challenge was, however, not having the money required to transition to high school. My administration will help him fully to accomplish his dream of becoming a governor,” said the Uasin Gishu second governor.
