Bungoma governor Kenneth Lusaka Mourns the Death of Francis Wangusi
Bungoma governor Kenneth Lusaka has mourned the death of former Director General, Communications Authority of Kenya.
He died on Wednesday afternoon at Nairobi Hospital where he has been undergoing treatment for some time.
He first held the position in an acting capacity for a year before he was confirmed as the substantive CA boss where in 2015, the CA Board renewed his tenure, a position he held until departure.
Governor Lusaka decribed the decasedsd as a hardworking and focused leader,
“I have learnt with shock the passing on of former Director General, Communications Authority of Kenya, Francis Wangusi.He was a hardworking and focused leader which made him to be known by many through his nine-year stint at the CA where he served between 2012 and 2019,” he said.
“Sirisia and Bungoma has lost one of the most resourceful persons whose contribution to the community will be dearly missed.
My prayers and sympathy goes to his immediate family, relatives, friends and the people of Bungoma at large. Rest In Peace,” he added
