Governor Sakaja Want President Ruto to Consider Handshake With Odinga
Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja now wants president William Ruto to consider dialogue with opposition leader Raila Odinga.
He says this will unite the Country after the opposition leader Raila Odinga recently announced the start of mass action across the Country thus polarising the Country.
The Nairobi governor says the government should listen to some of the demands.
“None wants a handshake/Nusu mkate but we must acknowledge all leaders. You must be able to hear what are their legitimate concerns? He said.
“In very tough times even from the time of President Moi, decisions have been made that are bigger than an individual. This is our country all of us and everyone must be made to feel as Kenyan as the other person. The politics of exclusion are not politics of Kenya Kwanza,” Sakaja added.
Sakaja said that anti-government protests will affect the economy.
